Drive Limos

Terms

The terms that govern this website and the services described on it, including quotes, cancellation, liability and the law that applies.

Draft for review. This page was prepared as a structured starting point and reflects how the site actually works. It is not legal advice. Have it reviewed by a qualified professional in the relevant jurisdiction, and fill in the bracketed details, before you go live.

These terms

These terms govern reservations made with Drive Limos. Placing a reservation means you accept them. They sit alongside the written confirmation you receive for each booking; where the two differ, the confirmation controls.

Quotes and confirmation

A price shown on this website or produced by the online estimator is an estimate. It becomes a firm price only when we send you a written confirmation. Estimates assume the details you entered are accurate; material changes to date, time, route, duration, passenger count or vehicle class may change the price, and we will tell you before applying any change.

What the price includes

Confirmed all-inclusive prices include tolls, applicable taxes, standard parking and gratuity. They do not include charges arising from changes you make, waiting beyond the free allowance, additional stops, cleaning or damage, or costs outside our control such as event parking surcharges, which are itemised if they arise.

Waiting time

Beyond the free allowance, waiting is billed in 15-minute increments at the vehicle's hourly rate. If we cannot reach you and you have not contacted us, the reservation may be treated as a no-show after 60 minutes.

Cancellation

Cancellations inside these windows, and no-shows, are charged in full. Cancellations must be made by telephone or in writing — a text to your chauffeur is not a cancellation.

Conduct and the vehicle

Smoking and vaping are prohibited in all vehicles. Passengers must remain seated with seatbelts fastened while the vehicle is moving. The chauffeur may decline to carry, or may end, any journey where a passenger is behaving unlawfully or in a way that endangers anyone — no refund is due in that event. Vehicle passenger capacities are maximums set by law and cannot be exceeded.

Alcohol

Alcohol may not be consumed in a vehicle by anyone under 21, and may not be consumed at all where the vehicle class or applicable law prohibits it. On any booking involving passengers under 21, the person who made the booking is responsible for compliance, and the chauffeur will end the journey if alcohol is present.

Damage and cleaning

The person who made the booking is responsible for damage or excessive soiling caused by their party. Cleaning charges are billed at cost, up to a stated maximum disclosed at the time.

Accessibility

We accommodate wheelchair and accessible-vehicle requests with advance notice so that the right vehicle and a trained chauffeur can be scheduled. Please telephone rather than book online for these journeys.

Liability

We are liable for loss caused by our own negligence. We are not liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including weather, road closures, traffic, civil disturbance or mechanical failure — though we will always try to source a replacement vehicle. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Passengers' belongings are carried at their own risk.

Insurance and licensing

Drive Limos operates as a licensed livery service and carries commercial liability insurance. Licence numbers and a certificate of insurance are available on request.

Payment

A valid card is required to hold a reservation. Charges are applied on completion unless the confirmation states otherwise. Corporate account holders are invoiced per their account terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois.
