How the run actually goes
O'Hare from Schaumburg is a short run — I-290 east to I-190, or Golf Road when the expressway is stopped. Midway is the long one, down I-290 and I-294 through the western suburbs, and it is the leg people consistently underestimate. If your flight is out of Midway, add half an hour to whatever a mapping app tells you at 4pm on a Thursday.
